As we set off on our journey we watched the beautiful red rocks disappear behind the mountains. We have spent much of our childhood climbing on those rocks, and it is fitting for them to be our goodbye. I take a deep breath and feel the breeze blowing through the rocks, the same rocks that have held legends like Jimmy Hendrix, Jerry Garcia, and Frank Zappa. I think of their journey to fulfill their dreams, and I see my dreams laid out in front of me. With our first leg successful the sun says goodbye with a spectacular finish.
You two are adventurers in the true sense of the word. Thank you so much for allowing me to see you off. It was an honor.
